Beet Root Cutlet With Hung Yogurt Dip

Beetroot is very good for kids with hung yogurt dip.

Ingredients :

  • 4 medium sized potato boiled and mashed
  • 2 medium beet boiled and grated
  • 1/2 cup millet powder ( grind any millet like little millet into a fine powder. This is for binding)
  • Khus khus ( poppy seeds) optional
  • 1 tsp crushed green chilly and ginger paste
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1/4 cup coriander chopped
  • 1 onion sautéed
  • 1 tsp amchur powder/ dry mango powder ( optional)
  • Salt to taste

How to make:

  1. Mix all the ingredients with salt and bring it together like a dough.
  2. Make cutlets out of it dip both sides in khus khus and shallow fry
  3. Serve with dip of your choice. I made a hung yogurt dip mixed with homemade chilly sauce.
