Sprouted Ragi Flour Pancake

This is a power loaded pancake that is great for kids and adults as a breakfast option .

I have used sprouted ragi flour. Sprouted ragi flour ie sprouted finger millet flour has increased protein, dietary fiber, and enhanced iron bioavailability when compared to plain ragi flour. I have paired this with Rajamudi rice flour that  is rich in antioxidants and phytonutrients also. Zinc present in Rajamudi rice improves the immunity and speed up the recovery and healing of the body

You can see this pancake is loaded with nutrients. Hence makes a great breakfast option

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup sprouted ragi flour( can use normal ragi flour)
  • 1 cup rajamudi rice flour ( you can used plain rice flour)
  • 1/4 cup kakvi liquid jaggery( can use jaggery powder instead)
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda ( can add a mashed banana instead)
  • Water as required

How to make:

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients.
  2. Add the vanilla essence, liquid jaggery and banana if using. Add water as required to get a thick consistency.beat well to remove all lumps
  3. Heat a pan and make pancakes.
