Cook the foxtail millet and the sweet potato for 4 whistles in the cooker.
Ingredients :
- 1 cup Foxtail Millet (soak for 3 hours . Discard water )
- 1 large Sweet potato
- 1 chopped onion
- 3 Tbsp chopped coriander
- Salt to taste
- Green chilly chopped as per spice
- 1 tsp amchur powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
How to make:
Cook the foxtail millet and the sweet potato for 4 whistles in the cooker. Water proportion for millet would be 1: 2( 1 millet : 2 water). Cool both completely. Mash the sweet potato completely so there are no lumps, In a bowl add the millet and the sweet potato and all other ingredients. Combine all to form a nice dough. Shape tikkis of desired shape and shallow fry with very little oil on a tawa. Serve with green chutney or tomato ketchup
