Oats Green Moong Dosa With Spring Onion

This dosa batter does not need fermenting and hence can be made quickly

 

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup oats ( I used gluten free rolled oats)
  • 1 cup soaked green moong
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion / spring onion
  • 2 green chilly
  • 1 inch piece ginger
  • 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • About 2 cups of water for grinding

 

How to make:

  1. Dry grind oats to a powder. Add the soaked moong , green chilly, ginger , jeera , coriander and salt with water and grind to a smooth paste.
  2. Remove on to a container. Check salt and the consistency. Add water if necessary.this batter does not need to ferment. Just rest for 15 minutes.
  3. Add chopped spring onion. This is optional. You can even add normal onions.
  4. Make dosa and serve with tomato chutney.
