This dosa batter does not need fermenting and hence can be made quickly
Ingredients :
- 1 cup oats ( I used gluten free rolled oats)
- 1 cup soaked green moong
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion / spring onion
- 2 green chilly
- 1 inch piece ginger
- 2-3 tbsp chopped coriander
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- About 2 cups of water for grinding
How to make:
- Dry grind oats to a powder. Add the soaked moong , green chilly, ginger , jeera , coriander and salt with water and grind to a smooth paste.
- Remove on to a container. Check salt and the consistency. Add water if necessary.this batter does not need to ferment. Just rest for 15 minutes.
- Add chopped spring onion. This is optional. You can even add normal onions.
- Make dosa and serve with tomato chutney.
