Jowar Yellow Moong Dal Dosa

This is a gluten free recipe . High in protein since we are using Jowar and Moong Dal. Also Jowar is high in fiber. So it makes a great complete meal.




Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Jowar  Grains
  • 1 cup Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1/2 Cup poha/ flattened rice

How to make:

  1. Soak the Jowar and Moong Dal for at least 7-8 hours.
  2. An hour before grinding add the poha to the soaked dals so that it softens as well
  3. Drain and grind with little water to a fine dosa paste. Add salt
  4. Let it ferment overnight
  5. Add cumin and check salt.
  6. Make crispy dosas

I served this with peanut and raw mango chutney and sambar.
