RAGI DOSA

This dosa is made from Ragi or finger millet flour. 

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup ragi
    flour
  • 1/4 cup urad
    dal
  • 1 tbsp methi
    seeds
  • 1/4 cup poha

How to make:

  1. Soak urad dal and methi seeds for 3 hours. Wash the poha and keep aside
  2. Drain water from urad and methi and grind with little water into a fluffy batter. Add poha and grind again.
  3. Add the ragi flour and some water into the grinder and give it a whiz along with the urad paste. Adjust water.
  4. You would need around 1-1.5 cups of water approximately.
  5. 5.add salt and let it ferment for 8/10 hours or overnight.
  6. Batter ready to make dosa.
  7. This batter makes crispy and yummy dosas.
