1 raw mango – deseed and cut into pieces with skin on
3 dry red chilly
1 tsp mustard seeds
2 tbsp jaggery
1 tsp red chili powder
2 tsp oil
Salt to taste
How to make:
In a pan add the oil and mustard seeds. Once they splutter add the red chilly and fry. Add mango pieces, salt and turmeric and fry for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water cover and cook till the mango becomes soft. Remove cover, add chilly powder and jaggery and let it boil till the jaggery melts and the gravy thickens a bit.
Serve hot with chapati/ bhakri or as a side dish with rice
