Raw Mango Pachadi/ Chutney

Ingredients :

  • 1 raw mango – deseed and cut into pieces with skin on
  • 3 dry red chilly
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp jaggery
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp oil
  • Salt to taste

How to make:

  1. In a pan add the oil and mustard seeds. Once they splutter add the red chilly and fry. Add mango pieces, salt and turmeric and fry for 2 minutes. Add 1/2 cup water cover and cook till the mango becomes soft. Remove cover, add chilly powder and jaggery and let it boil till the jaggery melts and the gravy thickens a bit.
  2. Serve hot with chapati/ bhakri or as a side dish with rice
