Beet root Halwa

Beet root Halwa ( with jaggery)

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups grated beet root
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup jaggery powder ( use according to your taste.. can also add sugar)
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2-3 tsp ghee

How to make:

1. Grate the beet root
2. In a pan add the ghee and roast beet till the rawness goes away. Approximately 10 minutes
3. Then add the milk. Boil till the beet absorbs all the milk.
4. Add the jaggery and cardamom powder
5. Cook till all combine well and moisture evaporates
6. Garnish with dry fruit of your choice
Healthy and yummy guilt free Halwa is ready to be devoured
