Chow Chow Peel Chutney Ingredients : Peel of 2 chow chow (wash very well and then peel)3 green chilly ( adjustspice as per your taste)5-6 shallots ( else canadd half an onion)3 tbsp coriander leavesFresh coconut 2 tbspA piece of tamarind1 tbsp urad dalPinch of hing/asafoetidaSalt to taste How to make: Peel the chow chow and chop the peelIn a pan add a tsp of oil. Add urad dal and hing. Once done add the peel, green chili and tamarindWhen the peel is cooked add coriander leaves.add salt.Just before switching off the flame add the coconut.Cool completely and grind with a dash of water if requiredServe as an accompaniment with rice, dosa or Roti.
