Kodo Millet 3 in 1 Batter – Gluten Free This is a gluten free batter to make idli, dosa or fritters in appe pan with your choice of veggies and seasoning and hence called a 3 in 1 batter. Ingredients : 4 cups murmura/puffed rice1 cup rice/ millet of your choice1/2 cup urad dal How to make: Soak the millet and urad dal separately in two container for 6/8 hoursSoak poha for 1 hour.Drain water from urad dal and grind to a smooth fluffy paste with little water. Pour into a container.Grind the millet and poha with little water to form a smooth paste. Remove and mix with the urad dal paste.Add salt and ferment for 10/12 hours or overnight.This is a multipurpose batter as you can make soft idlis, dosas or fritters with it. Aruna Anand
