Little Millet Dosa

Also known as Sama or Samai rice which is used extensively during the fasting period. This is a gluten free Recipe.

This dosa comes out very crispy and tastes delicious.


Ingredients :

  • 2 cups little millet/ Sama chawal
  • 1 cup urad dal
  • 1 tsp methi seeds
  • 2 tbsp chana dal

How to make:

  • Soak millet, urad dal. Methi seeds and chana dal together in water for  4/5 hours. Strain  the water  and grind it all into a fine dosa batter. Add salt and let it ferment for 10/12 hours or overnight
  • Once fermented prepare dosa and serve with  chutney.
