Mint/pudina chutney

Ingredients :

  • 2 cups fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp urad dal
  • 3/4 green chilly
  • 2 tbsp fresh coconut
  • Small piece sold tamarind
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp oil

How to make:

  1. In a pan add the oil. Roast the urad dal till light brown
  2. To this add the mint leaves, green chilly, tamarind and salt and roast till the mint leaves are cooked
  3. Switch off flame add the coconut
  4. Cool and grind to form a aromatic and lip smacking chutney

This can be served with dosa, rice or with Roti and bhakri
