Yellow and red capsicum chutney

This is a wonderful tangy , Sweet and spicy chutney that goes amazingly well with dosa or idli

Ingredients :

  • 1 red capsicum
  • 1 yellow capsicum
  • 2 onion
  • 2 tomato
  • 3-4 dry red chilly
  • Piece of ginger
  • Piece of tamarind
  • 1 tbsp urad dal

How to make:

1. Cut all the veggies into medium sized pieces

2. In a pan add oil and sauté the urad dal and red chilly till it turn light brown

3. To this add the onion. Sauté

4. Add the capsicum, tomato and tamarind till all the veggies cook

5. Add salt and cool completely

6. Grind without water

7. Temper with mustard seeds ( optional)
